Richard Landale heads up the Wooler Office. He joined the firm under TW Sale and qualified as a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 1979. Richard oversees the agricultural property department, buying and selling large agricultural estates and country houses on behalf of clients. He also undertakes the management of several estates in the area as well as being Managing Director of Kelso Races.
Richard and his wife Jenny live close to Wooler and have a grown up family, he enjoys all country pursuits as well as rugby and gardening.

Mark joined John Sale & Partners in 1980 as Land Agent for the famous Blagdon Estate, where he remains resident agent. He has since expanded the client base from this office, managing a wide portfolio of Estates and other interests. Mark has dealt with many coal surface mining projects over a long period. He is Company Secretary of Tynegrain Ltd (grain co-operative), Director of Seven Mile House Ltd (farming company), and Director of The Blagdon Farm Shop Limited.
Mark lives near Stannington with his wife and enjoys gardening, forestry and shooting.

Ewan trained with the firm and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2006, becoming a Partner in 2012. Ewan specialises in the sale and acquisition of all types of rural property, from farm cottages to sporting estates; he also manages a number of rural estates and property portfolios in North East England and Southern Scotland.
Ewan lives near Melrose and has a young family, he enjoys shooting, fishing and mountaineering.

Having spent 11 years as a Land Agent for two firms in the Midlands and Yorkshire, Robert joined Sale & Partners with a breadth of knowledge in estate management, valuations and landlord and tenant legislation. Robert also manages fishing and lettings on the world famous River Tweed, allowing him to mix business with pleasure.

The team is headed by Ian Mark MCIAT, who specialises in all aspects of building design and project management from inception through planning consents and building to completion. Ian has many years of experience in the building trade, and joined Sale & Partners in 1989. He is ably assisted by Scott Walker who graduated with a Masters in Architectural Technology from Aberdeen's Robert Gordon University in 2009 and joined the team in 2010 following a spell with Covell Mathews Architects.
The third member of the team is Dave Allen spent his formative years as joiner then foreman with local builders firm. He joined Sale & Partners in 1998 and now oversees our retained clients Estate Maintenance needs, variety is the spice of life as far as Dave is concerned be it septic tanks, farm roofs or a leaky tap.

Since her relocation to Northumberland from the South East of England, Donna has handled our rental properties at Sale & Partners - from farm cottages to country houses and just about everything in between. Previously involved in all areas of Estate Agency for 10 years, the rental market became her main focus. Donna lives just outside of Wooler with her family, 2 labradors and small flock of hens.
